Middle School hosts history competition Lewiston Porter Sentinel, April 19, 2008
Saturday, March 15, wasn’t a day off for Lewiston-Porter Middle School students and instructors. That day saw Mrs. Linda Harvey, a sixth grade social studies teacher, coordinating the annual History Day competition. With its theme of “Conflict and Compromise,” the event saw the works of students from throughout Niagara County evaluated on their creativity in presentation of historical events. Shown above are students Jena Kreps and Jordan Powe with their project, “Battle of Fort Niagara.” |
