Saturday morning in Kenmore, approximately 40 supporters of Erie County Legislator Michele Iannello met at the Kenmore Municipal Building to listen as Iannello officially announced her candidacy for New York State Senate. Iannello represents Grand Island in the Legislature. Iannello said she will bring a proven record of fighting for change and defending the middle class. “The residents of Western New York cannot afford politics as usual in Albany,” Iannello said. “The time for change is now.” (photo by Larry Austin)
