Citius, Altius, Fortius

The Grand Island High School Student Advisory Council recently presented the 26th annual Student Olympics for Grand Island’s Special Athletes. Students in grades 9-12 participated in crazy events, such as musical chairs, the obstacle course, an egg toss and the tug-of-war. The students raised more than $2,400 for the Special Athletes and, when the points were totaled, Amber Duda, Susan Pioli, Alex Neutz and Joe Oliverio were awarded the championship trophies.
