Niagara Wheatfield Tribune, March 6, 2008

•Annual Egg Hunt

The Town of Wheatfield’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, March 15, at the Wheatfield Community Center, located at the corner of Church and Maple roads.

Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the festivities conclude at noon. This year, there will be prizes for both girls and boys in three different age groups, 4 years and under, 5 through 8 and 9 through 12 years.

To be eligible for prizes, children must be registered. Registration forms may be obtained prior to March 15 at the Wheatfield Youth Center, the Community/Senior Center, from the Tribune and at the Wheatfield Recreation building.

Bringing the completed forms on the day of the event and using the pre-registration line, the registration process will be expedited. Registrations also will be available at the door on the morning of Saturday, March 15. The Easter egg hunt will take place outside, weather permitting.

After finding the eggs, everyone is invited inside the Center for juice, snacks and coffee. Also available will be guessing games, coloring activities, balloon sculpturing by Jan and the special guest, the Easter Bunny. Bring along your smiles and have a picture taken with the Easter Bunny.

The event is organized by the Wheatfield Youth Committee and the Recreation Department.
