Snowmen a-jammin’ in the village

Lewiston Porter Sentinel, March 15, 2008

The heaps of snow piled up big time in northern Niagara over the past week, and coupled with a day off from work, provided an ideal opportunity for Village of Lewiston resident Stacey Adams to fashion some rather interesting snow creations. Above, a pair of snowmen are found a-jamin’ complete with sax and drums in this photo taken in her village yard. Perhaps Adams had the Art Council’s ongoing Toast and Jam open mic nites at the Brickyard in mind, or maybe the upcoming Lewiston Jazz Fest this summer? Whatever, the jammin’ snowmen might prove a neat idea for some creative ice carving art for either event.
