Gleason’s Niagara team excels

The Niagara Team from Gleason’s School of Gymnastics competed at the Niagara Cup on Sunday, March 9, at Canisius College. For the Level 4 team ages 6 to 8 years old, Kennedy Faison from Lewiston captured first place in the all-around with a total score of 38.60. Faison took first place on vault and floor exercises, second on beam, and fourth on bars. In the 9 to 10 year-old group, Riley Suitor had an excellent meet and captured 13th place in the all-around by placing first on vault, fourth on floor, and 13th on bars. Elyse Wall from Youngstown had an outstanding meet as well by earning high scores on vault and floor.

The Level 5 team had a number of girls receive medals for superior performance. Lia Parks of Youngstown had high scores on beam and vault; Julia San Giacomo of Lewiston had her highest score of the season on vault, and Vinnie Costanzo of Youngstown medaled on vault and beam.
