Arts Council announces Time Warner sponsorship Lewiston Porter Sentinel, March 15, 2008
The Lewiston Council on the Arts announced this week that has secured a significant funding partnership for the 2008 edition of the Lewiston Fine Arts Festival. Time Warner Cable, the nation’s second largest cable TV provider, which includes the Buffalo-Niagara Falls viewer market, has signed on as the major entertainment sponsor for the 2008 Lewiston Art Festival that returns this August along the Center Street strip in the village. “Time Warner Cable proudly sponsors Lewiston Council on the Arts and the Lewiston Art Festival. The artists in Niagara County that participate in this wonderful event are truly first class and it is with pride we help showcase them,” stated Gordon Harp, president of Time Warner Cable. “We hope that everyone in Western New York will take time to visit this prestigious two-day event in this historic village.” Above left, Irene Rykaszewski, executive director of the Lewiston Council on the Arts, joins with Robin Wolfgang, vice president of public and government affairs for Time Warner Cable TV, at the $5,000 sponsorship announcement. “This is an amazing sponsorship for us,” commented the Arts Council’s Eva Nicklas, who adds that TWC’s contribution will also enhance the LCA’s entire summer schedule. |
