NU announces line-up for High School Band Showcase Niagara Frontier Publications, March 6, 2008 Niagara University’s Live Music Committee will present its third annual High School Rock Band Showcase on Friday, April 4, from 8 to 11 p.m. in the Gallagher Center. The bands that will compete in this year’s showcase are: •Abominable Killer Snowmen – Niagara-Wheatfield High School •Black Dog – Lewiston-Porter High School •High Frequency – Lewiston-Porter High School •Sleepless City – Grand Island High School •Stoney Curtis – North Tonawanda High School Generations Music sponsors the showcase. Bruce Wojick and Denny Pelczynski from the band KLEAR and Glenn Bernardis from the band Stone Row will judge the event. Grand prize for the winning band will include a $300 gift certificate from Generations Music and two hours of studio time at GB Audio. The event is open to the public. Admission is $5 at the door and includes pizza and wings. |
