Community Bible remains unbeaten in Lutheran Basketball Association

Week 13 of action in the men’s division of the Lutheran Basketball Association saw victories by Community Bible, St. Mark and St. Matthew.

St. Matthew 51
St. Paul 40

Dan Smith scored a game-high of 17 points as St. Matthew defeated winless St. Paul. Wes Hromowyk and Andrew Knoell tossed in eight points each in the victory.

Chris Reimer led St. Paul with 13 points. Reimer’s teammates Brian Hapeman and Bob Pepperday had eight points each.

St. Mark 52
St. Peter’s Sanborn 31

Matt DeVantier scored 16 points as St. Mark defeated St. Peter’s Sanborn. Mike Hromowyk added 12 points in the victory.

Steve Wright of St. Peter’s Sanborn led all scorers in the game with 21 points in defeat.

Community Bible 73
First Trinity 57

Steve Becker scored 22 points as Community Bible defeated First Trinity to remain undefeated in league play. Mike Gibbons had 20 points and Tom Bradley added 15 points in the victory.

Andrew Passage led First Trinity with 24 points. David Hoffman chimed in with 12 points.
