Walk like a penguin

Holy Ghost’s first and second graders explored the chilly lives of penguins. Led by ELA specialist Marsha Forsey, they studied the habitat, life cycle and other facts about penguins through creative activities. Pictured here are Quinn, Evan, Tommy and RJ practicing their penguin walk while balancing an egg on their feet – just as penguins would. The first and second graders at the Bergholz school put their penguin knowledge to use as they artistically created their own penguins and published facts about penguins in the school hallway for all to see.
