Malvestuto duo take tourney titles

The Malvestuto brothers won championships at last weekend’s Niagara Frontier Wrestling Officials Tournament at Niagara County Community College.

Joe Malvestuto, pictured in his semifinal match against Penfield’s Brandon Ling, won the 103-pound class with a 12-8 decision over Connor Sutton of LaSalle.

His brother, Angelo Malvestuto, defeated Josh Deeter of Franklinville to win the 171-pound weight class.

N-W finished second to Lancaster among 39 teams entered at the tourney.
