Food and Toy Drive at Huth Road Elementary

Grand Island Dispatch, December 21, 2007

The Neighbors Foundation of Grand Island provides a food pantry and offers aid to Grand Island families
experiencing fi nancial setbacks. They sponsored a special holiday collection which was distributed on Dec. 18. Huth Road Elementary has participated in the food drive for many years and established a reputation for its generosity. For this year’s drive, students, teachers and staff were encouraged to bring in toys, nonperishable food items, paper products, and personal care items the week of Dec. 6 to 14. Morning announcements reminded everybody about the food for families drive.
