Members of the East Park Garden Club work at the Children’s Garden, dedicated in 2002 to Hazel Link of the Sidway PTA. Established in 1950, and federated in 1954, the club is Grand Island’s oldest garden club. The purpose of East Park Garden Club is to practice gardening with the enthusiasm of a true amateur and the understanding of a true student. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
