Allstate Insurance agent Anthony Mastantuono has been awarded the Agency Hands in the Community Award for his commitment to volunteering in the community.

With the award comes a $500 grant from The Allstate Foundation for the Grand Island Volunteer Fire Company.

Mastantuono, whose office is located at 1740 Grand Island Blvd., received the award as a result of his active membership and involvement with the Grand Island Volunteer Fire Company, where he has made a significant contribution to the community.

Charlie Lala, regional distribution leader at Allstate Insurance Company, nominated Mastantuono.

“Anthony is an active member of his community,” said Lala. “He is a respected member of the business community, protecting people with insurance and financial services products. He also makes a point of getting involved personally by dedicating his time and efforts to making a difference in people’s lives.

“Allstate believes that it is very important for corporations to take an active interest in the communities they serve. Allstate is proud to support the Grand Island Fire Company through the Allstate Foundation,” concluded Lala.

Established in 1952, The Allstate Foundation is an independent, charitable organization made possible by subsidiaries of The Allstate Corporation. The Allstate Foundation partners with non-profit organizations on community initiatives.

The Allstate Corporation is the nation’s largest publicly held personal lines insurer and widely known through the “You’re In Good Hands With Allstate” slogan.
