Daughters of Creative Sound

The Daughters of Creative Sound brought music to the Riverside Salem on West River Road last Wednesday. Drumming was the thrust of the music, but storytelling and singing and dancing was part of the event as well. Interactive music included “I Say, You Say,” and there was a “Thank you, Rosa Parks” tribute. There were eight drummers in all. A volunteer dinner was available before the drumming began, and the evening was enjoyable for those who attended.
