Classy
Buicks visit Island

Last weekend, the Niagara Frontier Chapter of the Buick Club of
America staged the Great Lakes Buick Regional car show at the Grand
Island Holiday Inn and Conference Center. Buick classics of all makes
and models – 123 of them – from throughout New York state as well
as Connecticut, Massachusetts, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Texas and
the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Ontario were on display
for public viewing, along with some eye-catching V-8s. The oldest
was a 1909 classic (shown below), owned by Randy Hall and Marge Salvatora.
The show, which ran both Saturday and Sunday, was a hit, with many
