Kaiser competing for title as Miss Teen Buffalo

Grand Island Dispatch, July 6, 2007

Autumn Marie Kaiser of Grand Island was recently selected to participate in the 2007 Miss Teen Buffalo pageant that will take place Sunday, July 22. Kaiser learned of her acceptance into this year’s competition as Nationals Inc. announced their selections.

She submitted an application and took part in an interview session that was conducted by Anna Klejnowski, this year’s pageant coordinator.

Kaiser will be competing for her share of more than $20,000 in prizes and specialty gifts that will be distributed to contestants. She will be competing in the Miss Teen division, one of three divisions that will have young ladies between the ages of 10 and 19 in modeling routines that include casual and formal wear.

Most important, Kaiser will display her personality and interviewing skills before this year’s judging panel. Personality is the No. 1 aspect upon which each contestant is judged during all phases of the competition.

If Kaiser were to win the title of Miss Teen Buffalo, she would represent Buffalo and the surrounding communities at the Cities of America National Competition that will take place in Orlando, Fla. More than $60,000 in prizes and awards will be presented at the national competition, while each winner enjoys this expense-paid trip of five nights and six days in Orlando.

There is no cost for contestants in the pageant. Community businesses, organizations and private individuals will assist Kaiser through sponsorships that also provide all the necessary training, rehearsals and financial support.

Any business, organization or private individual who may be interested in becoming a sponsor for Kaiser may contact Klejnowski at 1-800-569-2487.
