Connor Character award winners announced Grand Island Dispatch, July 6, 2007
Connor Middle School has announced the final Connor Character Connection (C3) award recipients for the year. The final character trait that was selected was “diligence,” and student posters about the trait were on exhibit in the front hall of Connor Middle School. Those nominated were chosen because they were diligent in their school efforts throughout the year. In addition to the June awards, several students were awarded a “creativity award” in May. These students were recognized as displaying a creative nature and for being “out of the box” thinkers. Those students were: Dakota Abt, Jacob Beach, Johnathan Boorady, Diana Boulden, Chris Brownschidle, Marshall Cancilla, Jason Chadwick, Kaleigh Cleveland, Sarah Dzielski, Samantha Kahn, Zaineb Khawar, Wesley Link, Jamie Magaris, Christina Martinez, Sarah Meyers, Orendael Miller, Rachael Ruszkowski, Ben Sherman, Benjamin Smith, Emily Sommer, Katherine Studley, Amanda Sutter and Bridget Thompson. This Connor Character Connection Program was implemented by the Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports Committee at Connor Middle School as a supplement to the district goals of providing opportunities for character education. Congratulations to the award recipients for their outstanding efforts. |
