Lewis, Smith, win Zarbo Scholarships

Two Grand Island High School students have been named winners of the 2007 Zachary R. Zarbo Memorial Scholarship.

The scholarship winners are:

•Tim Lewis, who won the NYSSSA choral scholarship in the amount of $500 to attend the New York State Summer School of the Arts School of Chorus.

•Forrest Smith, who won the Spotlighter Drama Scholarship of $500 for college.

For both awards, the recipients had to show good character, involvement in the Grand Island High School chorus and/or Spotlighters, and involvement in faith works. They also had to write an essay.
