Island Happenings a ‘huge success’

The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce hosted Island Happenings in conjunction with KidBiz on Saturday, June 30, in the Town Commons, with more than 50 business vendors and 50 KidBiz participants. The weather was fabulous and the Rock band, The Strangers, provided a great musical sound to create a festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you to all who attended, and to all who participated in this great annual community event that is growing in popularity every year. Of course, this would not be possible without the assistance of all our valued sponsors, Fuccillo Chevrolet, Niagara Frontier Publications (Island Dispatch/PennySaver), Bleich Inc., Carol Ann’s Hair Fashions, Creative Leather Concepts, First Niagara Bank, First Investors Corp., Grand Island Women of the Moose Lodge 180, North Point Embroidery, state Sen.
