History comes to life at Colonial Village Niagara Wheatfield Tribune, June 21, 2007
Colonial Village Elementary School students recently had a chance to meet and talk with the likes of Clara Barton, President George Bush and Condoleeza Rice, Jane Goodall, Sacagewea and Alexander Graham Bell, as well as many other important figures in American history. Over 90 fourth graders produced what they called a “Living Museum,” bringing these historical people dramatically to life right in their school, after completing the research they needed on prominent figures in American history. To highlight the historical people selected, students created posters and then entertained the rest of their school by portraying those figures as part of their living museum. |
