Truesdale honored at Lew-Port

Lewiston Porter Sentinel, June 23, 2007

Alan Truesdale, superintendent of Buildings and Grounds for the Lewiston-Porter Central School District, will be retiring, but he will not be easily forgotten. The Lewiston-Porter School Board last Thursday passed a resolution to name the new Building and Grounds Maintenance Building in his honor. Shown at left is Truesdale and Interim Superintendent Don Rappold with the plaque bearing his likeness that will be placed on the building. The resolution recognizes Truesdale’s “tireless, excellent and consistent hard work” and his “positive attitude toward his job at Lewiston-Porter,” where he “made himself available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.” The board designated the new building as the Alan Truesdale Maintenance Building.
