Benefit for Sue

A family benefit for Sue Glogowski took place last weekend at the Charles N. De- Glopper VFW Post on Grand Island Boulevard. Glogowski, a longtime employee at her brother, Rich Eicheldinger’s, summer produce stand at the VFW, was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in November. More than 150 beautiful baskets were donated for the raffle. There also was food, music and a Chinese auction. The proceeds of the event will help offset the family’s financial burden.
