Zonta Scholarship winners

The Zonta Club of Grand Island this week awarded its annual scholarships to women pursuing higher education, in a dinner and ceremony at the Buffalo Launch Club. The 2007 winners are, from left: Jill Endres, who is studying English and psychology at the University of Rochester; Sydney Seese, who will be attending Houghton College in the fall to study music and Spanish education; and Jessica Kuehne, an outstanding soccer player who will attend Siena College on an athletic scholarship to study elementary education. Missing from the photo is Amy Stewart, who will be entering her senior year at Daemon College, where she is studying childhood and special education. (photo by Barbi Lare)
