Pies, balloons and magic
wrap up St. Stephen’s
year
Grand Island
Dispatch, June 22, 2007
The end-of-year activities at St. Stephen School
included the children enjoying their ‘cafeteria’ lunch with a barbeque
outdoors. As part of the picnic races, St. Stephen School children
had to fi nd their favorite bubble gum inside a cream pie, then
chew it to see who could make the biggest bubble! The fun continued
outdoors at St Stephen school as the children challenged each other
in all kinds of races, including the Sponge Race and Passing the
Ball. The St. Stephen children enjoyed the performance of magician
Dan Dobson as he amazed them with his sleight of hand, including
“Fun with Rings” with the help of eager volunteers from the audience.
The St. Stephen children had a blast playing balloon games such
as the Balloon Race, Balloon Stomp and Water Balloon Toss. (photos
