Buster Bison opens Fantasy Island

Martin's Fantasy Island officially kicked off its 2007 season with the help of the Buffalo Bison's mascot, Buster Bison, who opened the front gates of the Grand Island amusement park. "Two great Buffalo traditions got together," said Fantasy Island Marketing Director Mike McGuire. After his official duties were completed at Fantasy Island, Buster Bison immediately headed downtown for a Bison home game. Fantasy Island is open on weekends-only in May, with hours of 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The park also will be open on Memorial Day, May 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Extended hours begin in early June, with the regular season opening on Friday, June 15.
