Tops-NFP Coloring Contest Winners announced Lewiston Porter Sentinel, April 7, 2007
Last Saturday, the winners of the DiMinos Lewiston Tops – Niagara Frontier Publications Easter Coloring Contest were announced, following a diligent review of the many submitted entries by a panel of store employees who served as judges. As could be expected, selecting “the best of the best” proved to be a difficult chore for the judges, due to the large number of creative entries submitted, which can be found in the foyer area of the Center Street supermarket. Winners were chosen in three age categories with some neat first, second and third place entries awarded. Tops reports that the following were named this year’s winners of the popular children’s contest. In the 4 to 6 year age category, Carly Bahringer won first place and took home a $25 Toys R Us gift card, plus an Easter pen and stickers. Jackson Rodgers won second place and a Hot Wheels racing set and Luke Wilson was selected as the third place winner and was awarded two movie passes and some movie candy. For the 7 to 9-year-olds, Mike Wilson won first and received a $25 Toys R Us gift card, an Easter pen and stickers. Logan Gatehouse placed second and took home a Tetris game, while Jennifer Darlak was selected third and received two movie passes and movie candy. And in the age 10-12 category, Quinn Patton took top honors and also received a $25 Toys R Us gift card, an Easter pen and stickers. Shannon Nasca finished second and took home a jewelry-making kit, while Gabrielle Lopez won third and received two movie passes and movie candy. Shown above with this year’s winners are Debbie Leone (left), Lewiston Tops human resources manager/special events, and Dennis Ormsby (center) store manager. Congrats go out to all the winners. Shoppers are invited to check out the colorful entries on their next Tops visit. |
