YYC names new commodore

Mary Alice Eckert of Lewiston has been elected as commodore of the Youngstown Yacht Club for 2007 and will lead the club into its 76th year of operation. The Youngstown Yacht Club, located on the lower Niagara River in Youngstown, provides a full schedule of racing, cruising and junior sailing at all levels, as well as sailing instruction. Non-boaters are invited to join as well as social members.
