Sentinel publisher elected Chamber chair Lewiston Porter Sentinel, February 10, 2007 The Lower Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce announced this week that Arthur “Skip” Mazenauer, owner and publisher of Niagara Frontier Publications, which includes the Lewiston-Porter Sentinel, has been elected to serve as chair of its board of directors through January 2009. Mazenauer has been a member of the Chamber board since its inception in 2005 and has served on the organization’s executive board for the past two years. In addition to his new leadership role with the Chamber of Commerce, Mazenauer also serves on several other community and professional boards, including Artpark and Company, the Niagara Falls Aquarium, the Niagara County Bi-Centennial Executive Committee and the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce. He is the New York state representative for the Niagara County Builders Association and a member and past president of the Grand Island Rotary Club. The Chamber also announced that Rick Haight of Advanced Design Group was elected as first vice chair, and Dan Kilmer of Yankee Doodle Brochure Distribution will serve as the organization’s treasurer. Other leaders serving on the Lower Niagara River Region Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 2007 include: Jeff Baker, Peter Baker Farms; Bruce Blakelock, Riverside Sport Fishing; Janet Brown, HSBC Mortgage Corp. USA; Earl W. Brydges Jr., attorney at law; Robert Emerson, Old Fort Niagara; Joseph Fleckenstein, JF Machining; Ken Greulich, Dan and Lucy Wilson Realty; Rev. Joseph Levesque, CM, Niagara University; Judy Maness, Mount St. Mary’s Hospital and Health Center; Larry Nicolette, Edward Jones Investments; George Osborne, Artpark and Company; Cathy Pasquantino, Youngstown Village Diner; Allesandro Renzi, BeyondUs; Michael Rhoney, Rhoney Funeral Home Inc.; Rob Stevenson, Stevenson Hardware; Jeff Stolar, Gorge Travel; and Kristin Trunzo, Artzee. Also serving on the board in an ex-officio capacity is Patrick Brown, Brown and Company CPA; Lewiston Town Supervisor Fred Newlin; Village of Lewiston Mayor Richard Soluri; Youngstown Mayor Neil Riordan; and Porter Town Supervisor Mert Wiepert. |
