It’s 99 years young for Lil

A huge Happy Birthday goes out to Lil Carpenter as she turns 99 today, Feb.23. Pictured in the center between fellow Golden Age Club Seniors Liz AuClair-Smith and Leona McGaffin on Valentine’s Day, she helped to celebrate and honor couples who were married more than 50 years last week. Friends will also gather today with the almost century-old Grand Island resident to celebrate her birthday at the Nike Base Golden Age Center on Whitehaven Road during the daily lunch program.
