Valentines for all ages

Although students in many other school districts had a snow day on Wednesday, Grand Island students were able to attend their Valentine’s Day parties as planned. No matter what classroom you walked into, there were plenty of fun things to do. Celebrating at the Golden Age Center for Valentine’s Day are four couples who have been happily married for more than 60 years: Norm and Bertha Matteson, married 65 years, were honored with Hank and Nonnie Carroll, 60 years, Herm and Nell Roberts, married 62 years, and Art and Caroline Broadway, married for 66 years.
