World Day of Prayer March 2 at St. Stephen’s

The interdenominational 2007 World Day of Prayer will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, beginning at 10 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, 2100 Baseline Road.

The theme for this year’s worship service, written by the women of Paraguay, is “United Under God’s Tent.” Organizers said the program “stresses unity within diversity, with God as our base, who is protecting His people with His mantle, even from the beginning of salvation.”

A light luncheon will follow.
