Kuehne, Barnaby sign letters of intent

Grand Island High School senior soccer players Jessica Kuehne and Alicia Barnaby signed national letters of intent Thursday to continue their soccer careers at the Division I level. The pair committed to colleges during a signing ceremony at the high school. Kuehne, left, will attend Siena College in Loudonville and play for the Saints in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Barnaby signed her letter to attend St. John’s in Queens, members of the Big East Conference. With Kuehne at the signing ceremony were, clockwise from left, her mother Jude Kuehne, her brother Peter Jr., her father, Peter Sr., and Dan Shoniker, her coach with the Rochester Rhinos travel team.
