Welcome spring at Aquarium fund-raiser

The Aquarium of Niagara is looking forward to an early spring with its annual fund-raiser, SEAsonings 2007, to be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, at the Whirlpool Street facility.

Celebrating the coming season, the Aquarium event will feature fine wines and great food, all donated by area restaurants/caterers, vendors and vintners. “The Original Taste of Niagara” will also offer the musical sounds of Barbara Levy Daniels and Trio.

Niagara National Inc. is sponsoring the entertainment.

Raffle prizes have been donated by George Edwards Jewelers, Kaleidoscope Designs, Art Effects Glass, Welcome magazine, and The Dory.

Participating vendors include Binksberry Catering, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Days Inn at the Falls, Delaware North Parks Service, Gullo’s Macaroni Grill, Hard Rock Café, Lebro’s Restaurant, Mangia Cakes Bakery, NCCC Culinary/Pastry Arts Programs, Red Coach Inn, The Pastry Table, Specialty Pies by Shirlene, Tandoori’s, Thaxton’s Dinner House, The Youngstown Village Diner, The Conference Center Niagara Falls. Wineries include Honeymoon Trail, Heron Hill Winery, Legends Estate Winery, Hosmer Wine Company and Wagner Vineyards.

Other beverages will be provided by Certo Brothers, Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Coffee Pause. Celenza Florist will create floral designs and Sysco Cash and Carry will provide paper products.
