Raepple, Kaplan perform at Leatherstocking meet in Utica

Niagara Gymnasts from Gleason’s Gymnastics competed in the 21st annual Leatherstocking Invitational meet, held this past weekend at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.

Level 9 gymnast Jenna Raepple placed second all-around with 35.725. She placed in all events: second on vault with 9.125, third on floor with 9.3, fifth on beam, and sixth on bars. Raepple is an eighth grader at Veronica Connor Middle School.

Grand Island High School senior Rachael Kaplan earned sixth place all-around for the Level 8 team. She scored 9.225 on floor, earning second place. Kaplan also placed third on vault and sixth on bars. The Niagara Level 8 team placed second in the team competition.
