Students star in holiday play

Niagara Wheatfield Tribune, December 7, 2006
Grand Island Dispatch, December 8, 2006

“All Through the Night,” a holiday production produced by Starry Night Theatre Inc. at the Ghostlight Theatre, will star actors and actresses from nine local schools

Justine Swartz, a theater student at Niagara University, plays the role of the expecting Sarah trying to escape her abusive husband, and Bryan Cairnduff, a senior at Kenmore East High School, plays Neil, a college student racing home to his dying grandfather. They are two of a group of passengers stuck in a train station on a stormy Christmas Eve. Seven children rehearsing a nativity play in a nearby church visit the station looking for an audience. The children are played by: Jayson Clark (North Tonawanda High School); Meagan Blarr (Mount St. Mary Academy); Jennifer Mess (Niagara-Wheatfield High School); Kimberly Coulter (Starpoint High School); Daniel Torres (North Tonawanda Catholic School); Jed Woomer (Mullen School); and Annette Kwasniak (Ohio Elementary School).

“All Through the Night” will be on stage Dec. 8, 9, 15 and 16 at 8 p.m., and Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. at the Ghostlight Theatre, 170 Schenck St., North Tonawanda. For tickets or reservations, call 743-1614 or visit www.starrynighttheatre.com.
