Tuscarora Indian School celebrates Christmas

Niagara Wheatfield Tribune, December 28, 2006

Last Thursday, members of the Tuscarora K-Kids Club brought gift baskets to seniors living at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Home. The children, some pictured above, sang Christmas carols and visited with elders from the Tuscarora community. It was a wonderful evening full of Christmas cheer and holiday spirit. Pictured below, Santa made a special stop at the Tuscarora Indian School on Dec. 22 with gifts and goodies for all the good girls and boys. Halia Norton from Mrs. Brayley’s kindergarten class received a special surprise from Santa. Many thanks to Ed Schefflin from the Kiwanis Club of Lewiston for his work as Santa’s helper and to Chuck Stojak for his part in this very special day.
