Tuscarora K-Kids run canned food drive

Members of the Tuscarora K-Kids Club recently concluded their fifth annual canned food drive. During the month of November, students donated more than 600 non-perishable food items to the Tuscarora Indian Mission. The food was donated to area families just in time for Thanksgiving. Mrs. Mt. Pleasant’s 5th grade class will be treated to an ice-skating and pizza party donated by Hyde Park Ice Rink for collecting the most food. The K-Kids would like to thank everyone who made a donation, along with Hugh Gee and Anthony Attardo for donating the ice time and skate rentals for the kids and their families. Pictured is Mrs. Mt. Pleasant’s fifth grade class.
