Santa visits at Lewiston Library

Lewiston Porter Sentinel, December 16, 2006

Last Saturday was truly a special one at the Lewiston Public Library as the big man in red managed to find some time in his pre-Christmas rush to visit the children’s room and share some moments with many a young visitor. At right, Santa Claus (played by Lewiston Highway Superintendent Steve Reiter) reads to the fascinated little ones. Coordinated by Peggy Salada, president of the Friends of the Lewiston Library, other activities that day included face painting, cookie time, and secret surprises for the toddlers. Students from the Lewiston-Porter Middle School lent their efforts to make for a wonderful experience for all who attended. Above, little Amy Pucci was the first of many to give Santa her Christmas wish list. (photos by Dave Young)
