Previte named December employee of the month

Richard Previte, technical operations manager in the department of media resources, has been named employee of the month for December at Niagara University. Previte has been with NU since May of 1991, when he worked part time as the technical supervisor. In June of 1995, his position became full time. Previte also received the honor in April of 1994.

“During the month of October, he treated both my students and I as special customers, going beyond the call of duty,” a nomination stated. “Not only did he fit a last-minute event that I requested into his very busy schedule, but also went beyond the call of duty in allowing students to schedule additional appointments with media resources during the remainder of the semester.” The same nomination mentioned Previte’s warm and friendly personality.

Herman Platt, director of media resources, commented, “I have such high regard for Rich both as an employee and as a person. In the Vincentian spirit, he treats our customers with respect, and they are left with a sense of being special. Couple that with the great service he provides and we have the ideal candidate for employee of the month.”

Previte, a 1986 graduate of Niagara, and his wife, Adele, live in Niagara Falls.
