Sabres’ Gaustad visits No Blanket Smoke Shop

Niagara Wheatfield Tribune, November 2, 2006

Robert Leighton, above left, of Sanborn receives an autograph on the back of his T-shirt from Paul Gaustad of the Buffalo Sabres Thursday at the No Blanket Smoke Shop. Gaustad was a guest on a live remote broadcast of WGR Sports Radio 550’s Brad Riter Show. Riter, below at right, and Gaustad talked about Sabres hockey, and during commercial breaks Gaustad signed autographs and greeted dozens of customers and Sabres fans to the No Blanket Smoke Shop, located at 2400 Upper Mountain Road on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation. The store, owned by Frank Williams and managed by Dixon Printup, also welcomed Mark Walter, marketing consultant for WGR and Mike Laspesa of Uptown Music Creations. Last year, the No Blanket Smoke Shop had a visit from the Sabres’ Jason Pominville last season. (photos by Larry Austin)
