Power Authority contributes to Greater Niagara Fish Odyssey Niagara Wheatfield Tribune, October 5, 2006
Bill Hilts Jr. (right), chairman of the Greater Niagara Fish Odyssey Fall Classic, accepts a $2,500 check from Joanne Willmott, regional manager, community relations, for the New York Power Authority, during the Power Authority’s annual Wildlife Festival, held last month at the Niagara Power Project in Lewiston. The check, payable to the Newfane Business Association, which coordinates funding and distribution of prize money for the Fish Odyssey, reflects the Power Authority’s contribution as lead sponsor of the event. Michael McGrath of Niagara Falls won the grand prize in the Odyssey, which saw nearly 600 anglers participating in the waters of lakes Erie and Ontario, the Niagara River and area streams over the past month. |
