Lew-Port honors Shea Lewiston Porter Sentinel, October 7, 2006 Another standout Lewiston-Porter athlete was honored at halftime of the Homecoming game against Grand Island at Blakeslee Field. The Lew-Port Athletic Department recognized Mark Shea, left, who set school records in rushing yards in football and records in track and field in his high school career. A graduate of Lew-Port in 1969, Shea was a three-sport star in football, basketball, and track and field for the green and white. Lew-Port Athletic Director Scott Townsend and High School Principal Paul Casseri, right, presented Shea a game ball commemorating his selection as a honorary captain for the game, once again noting that there are no former Lancers.
