Castellani features works of Charles Rand Penney

Lewiston Porter Sentinel, October 14, 2006

Selections from the acquisition of the Charles Rand Penney Niagara Falls Historic Print Collection – a compilation of 765 historic prints of Niagara Falls with an exhibition of some of its superb highlights – are now on display at the Castellani Art Museum on the Niagara University campus. The show is curated by Christopher Lane of the Old Philadelphia Print Shop. A number of “themed” shows out of the vast collection are also planned for the future. With this collection, the Castellani has become a major study center for Niagara prints in the entire country. Tom and Candy Lytle provided supplementary financial support for this acquisition. The exhibit is on display through Jan. 28, 2007.
