Jill Kelly to speak Oct. 7

Web Exclusive, September 14, 2006
Primo PR

No mother wants to bury a child. Jill Kelly, wife of legendary Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly, buried her son, Hunter, in August of 2005. Hunter suffered from Krabbe disease. The Kelly family, of Orchard Park, established “Hunter’s Hope,” an organization that has raised funds to fight the disease that took the life of their little boy.

How did Jill Kelly cope with losing her son? How did she get through the tough times? Kelly will speak about her faith in a special presentation called “Love Endures” at Love Joy Gospel Church, one of Western New York’s larger churches, in order to accommodate the crowds who will come to hear this woman of faith share her powerful and often tear-filled story of loss, pain, faith and hope.

“Love Endures” will take place on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at Love Joy Gospel Church, 5423 Genesee St., Lancaster. The church is located two miles east of the Buffalo Airport.

Tickets for “Love Endures” are sold pre-sale and at the door. You can pre-order tickets by calling 651-0400. Childcare is available for kids up to age 5, and light refreshments will be served after the presentation. For more info, visit www.lovejoy.org.
