Lending a hand

A Chinese auction and chicken barbecue dinner and fund-raiser was held to benefit Tri-Community Ambulance Service Saturday at the Wheatfield American Legion Post. The fund-raiser helps Tri-Community cover the fire districts serviced by the Bergholz, St. Johnsburg, Sanborn and Pekin fire companies. Above, far left, Robin R. Zastrow, EMT paramedic, and Tri-Community President Ken DeVole, far right, presented plaques to Wheatfield Supervisor Timothy Demler and state Sen.
