Spaghetti dinner to raise funds for Longobardo Memorial Fund

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, corner of North Fourth and Ridge streets, Lewiston, hosts a spaghetti dinner and prayer service to benefit the Trooper Longobardo Memorial Fund. The event will be held on Friday, Sept. 29. Dinner will be served from 4 to 7 p.m., with the service following.

State police trooper Joseph A. Longobardo, 32, was shot, allegedly by Ralph “Bucky” Phillips, and subsequently died on Sept. 3. Longobardo’s wife, Teri, and 13-month-old son, Louis, survive the former Saratoga County resident.
