Graduates from basic training

Island resident U.S. Air Force Airman Brian Judkins recently graduated from basic training at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

The son of Jim and Mary Judkins, he currently attends Security Forces Technical School at Lakeland AFB and is due to graduate in October. A 2006 graduate of Grand Island High School, Brian is continuing the family tradition service in the of Air Force, following that of both his parents and his older brother.

He is expected to return home for a visit before heading to Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.
