Sisters of St. Francis Tribute Dinner, Oct. 12

Sister Beth Brosmer, director of development for the Sisters of St. Francis, has announced that the Tribute Dinner, recognizing the Sisters of St. Francis of Penance and Christian Charity, will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Buffalo Club, beginning at 6 p.m.

Held annually, proceeds from the event go to assist the needs of the elderly and ill Sisters who resident at the Stella Niagara motherhouse in Lewiston.

Sister Brosmer reports that a returning highlight is the silent auction, which this year will offer attendees the opportunity to win a 1983 Young Chang Grand Piano, with an original value of $17,000.

A number of noteworthy auction items will also be offerered.

The dinner is chaired by Nancy and Bill Gacioch.
