Porter recreation program to begin

The town of Porter will hold its summer recreation program at Stevenson Elementary School.

Registration for the program will be in the school gym on June 28 and 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Those enrolling for the first time must have a copy of their birth certificate at the time of registration.

The program will run from July 5 to Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and is for children in grade 1 through 10.
